I write a bunch of things…

Ragaire is Gaelic for late night wanderer; sometimes surnames and people are a perfect fit. Whether I’m softly wandering amongst the tombstoned ghosts and nocturnal lovelies safely in the shadows or wandering through the mazes in my mind, this Irish moniker rings true.

Mythology has always wrapped me in the legends of the past, and my bookshelves bow heavy with tales from around the world. I enjoy setting a table for Hades, Sleipnir, the fae, and badass women throughout history such as Jeanne de Clisson, the lioness of Brittany. Conjuring a conversation with a longma or a ghoul is the best possible way to start the day along with a strong, dark brew and love from two scruffy rescue mutts. You’re as likely to find me reading nerdy environmental literature as you are horror and fairy tales.
